Dear Sis, Dare to be different, dare to be BOLD!
Being bold is being confident in whatever you do or say. Being BOLD is having the courage to do something outside of your comfort zone or just doing something you may be afraid or uncomfortable doing. Being bold is taking risks in life. All of these charters link together, making you the BOLD TYPE.
Sis, when you are bold, you are taking responsibility and control of your life. You can be fierce in so many ways.
You may have finally decided to write and publish the book you have always wanted to write and let the world read; that’s being bold.
You may have finally decided to go back to school and get the degree you have been dreaming about; that’s being bold.
You may have decided to start the blog you have always wanted to create, that’s being bold.
You may have finally stood up to the one person you never knew how to stand up to; that’s being bold.
You may have decided to attend a social event to overcome your discomfort of being social; that’s being bold.
Anything you put your mind to, you will be able to do it. All it takes is believing in you.
There’s a quote recently posted on I Journi’s social media stating, “stop looking for validation from others and do what’s best for you.” Sometimes, when looking for validation from others, we are not bold enough to do what is best for ourselves. But let me have your attention Sis; if you want to change, you have to step up and be the change you want to see. We limit ourselves to our fullest potential when we hold back from taking on the things we want to do. You have to push yourself to be comfortable at being uncomfortable. I know the last sentence was a twist and probably a mouth full. Still, you indeed have to be bold and push yourself no matter how uncomfortable you may feel because eventually, you will be comfortable taking on something you didn’t know you were comfortable at doing.
Sincerely,
I’m Working on Being The BOLD TYPE
