4 Things That Helps To Keep A Full Cup

It would be best if you took care of yourself before you could take care of someone else. Remember it is OK to take a break! Doing so can ensure you are in a good headspace to pour into someone else’s life. 

This topic has been on my mind for some weeks now. While having a girl chat with a best friend of mine, we discussed the importance of taking care of ourselves to be well for others: MORE SELF CARE.

At one point, I felt myself getting burned out and needed to refill. I enjoy writing, developing content, interviewing, and anything that inspires others to follow their dreams, so I had to fill up my cup. Giving my best self to my readers and my team is critical. My work requires me to interact with people every day/all day; I needed to be sure that I was well enough to lead my team with a clear mind and write with a sound mind, so I took a few weeks off work and writing. Meet Ebony Delong, an entrepreneur, and mother of two beautiful girls. She is the owner of a beauty and hair business, A Nu’ Braid. Ebony is from Bronx, New York but moved to South Carolina at a young age. She has over 12 years of experience in doing hair. After high school, Ebony received her cosmetologist license and later proceeded to get her business license. With her business license, she expanded her business by developing custom wigs and her beauty products. Ebony makes all of her products by hand; she has a natural product line of soaps, beard oils, body washes, bath bombs, face masks, and many more. Her hair product line includes conditioners, shampoos, and pomades. Then there are some miscellaneous products like her dread-loc detoxes and incense. Ebony was recently able to get her beauty line in local stores, and she continues to expand her business outside of her local area. Ciera Young is a BOSS, and she knows it! She is a freelance photographer, certified MUA, Owner of FanCee The Brand, newly published author of Cheers To Him, and a mom of two beautiful young girls (Chloe and Chyla).

She is always on the go, but she spends it getting creative with her makeup and spending time with her girls during her free time. She is from a small town in South Carolina, where she currently resides. Ciera graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a minor in journalism.
